Roseann "Vanessa" Warren
The International Lovers Experience
(A Gold Experience Roundtable)
Roseann “Vanessa” Warren is a digital media strategist and editor with a career spanning editorial, marketing, and web technologies. A graduate of the University of the Arts London and The New School (MA, Media Studies and Media Management), she began her publishing career at London-based music and culture magazine TRUE. After moving to New York from London, she held roles at HarperCollins, U.S. News & World Report, Simon & Schuster, and Random House. As a passionate supporter of independent music and artists, in 2009, she founded the online publication Muphoric Sounds and is a contributor to Wax Poetics magazine. Additionally, in 2017, she launched The Edit Bae book editing consultancy, assisting authors to bring their books to life. Roseann currently serves as Associate Director of Web Technologies at Queens College, CUNY, overseeing the College’s web presence, and is manager to returning 80s funk band, Real to Reel, who were produced by Leon Sylvers III and Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis. Prince’s 1999 album was Roseann’s entry into the Princeverse, and as a consequence, it brought her MJ fandom to a screeching halt. #Prince4Ever
